Activities & things to do: Go sight-seeing, shopping and eating. Jungle safari and Mattupetty lake boat ride(specially when the lake is full) are a must.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Woolen clothes are recommended for the biting cold. From the foot of the Western Ghats, one has to mandatorily reach Munnar by road, driving through the forests- a beautiful experience specially when you encounter some wild elephants enroute!! Warnings: jeans and shoes are best. No slippers or high heels.
